Our rubber flexible cable are manufactured in accordance with a number of British Standards, including BS6195, BS EN 50525-2-21, BS EN 50525-3-21 and BS60332 as well as a wide range of International Standards, including VDE and CENELEC (European Committee for Electro Technical Standardization)
The mechanical stresses involved in moving apparatus means the cables are produced to handle a degree of wear-and-tear. Designated HOFR (heat & oil resistant and flame-retardant) the cables are designed to withstand extreme weather, oil/grease, mechanical as well as thermal stresses. They are suitable for a wide range of applications including mobile power supplies, light and heavy duty equipment, submersible pumps, welding, audio visual equipment and equipment on construction sites.
This range of cables includes coil end lead, 0361TQ, NSGAFÖU and a number of harmonized (HAR) cables, including H07RN-F (heavy duty chloroprene sheathed cable), H07ZZ-F (Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) rubber cable), H07RN8-F (submersible in water for temporary use) and H01N2-D & H01N2-E (welding cables).
