The cable has further wide-ranging applications as it provides superior protection against short circuits. For example, it is frequently specified for earth-fault-proof routing in wiring railway vehicles (rolling stock) and buses.
Offered in a broad range of cable sizes, from 1.5mm2 to 500mm2, the NSGAFOU Cable has a voltage rating of 1.8/3kV. It is manufactured in accordance with the German standard DIN VDE 0250.
The cable is flame retardant and offers good resistance to oils and greases. It can be installed internally including being laid in dry rooms.
