As arc welding cables, these hard wearing and flexible rubber cables are designed to transmit high currents between the welding generator and the electrode in various applications with a voltage rating of up to 100V including manual or automated welding lines and spot welding.
They are widely used in industries including automotive and ship building.
H01N2-D and H01N2-E welding cables are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 50525-2-81. This harmonised standard (<har>) supersedes those previously manufactured in accordance with BS 638 Part 4, CENELEC HD22.6 and VDE-282-6.
These single core cables have a voltage rating of 100V.
Both the H01N2-D and the H01N2-E are flexible cables, however H01N2-E is the preferred choice for applications requiring additional flexibility.
This range of robust rubber sheathed welding cables has a temperature rating of -40oC to +85oC when fixed and -20oC to +85oC when flexed. They are resistant to ozone, radiation, oils, acids, fats and petrol. They are flame retardant and resistant to the hot particles emitted as part of the welding process.
