H05RN-F Cable

The H05RN-F cable is a low voltage rubber sheathed power cable for flexible trailing applications. It is manufactured in accordance with VDE 0282 Part 4.

H05RN-F Cable Sizes and Voltage Rating

The H05RN-F is the smaller size variant of the H07RN-F 450/750V cable. H05RN-F cables have a voltage rating of 300/500V and are available in smaller conductor cross-sectional area sizes. Here, the Class 5 flexible copper conductors are provided in 0.75mm² and 1mm² only. It is available in 2 core, 3 core and 4 core variants as standard. 

H05RN-F Cable Specification

This harmonised cable is suitable for light-duty applications subject to low mechanical strain, for both indoors and temporary outdoor installations. They can be used in dry, damp and wet environments. 

The H05RN-F cable is commonly specified on portable handheld household equipment, workshop tools such as soldering irons, furniture, and in the construction industry predominantly in pre-fabricated building parts. It has an operating temperature range of -40^oC to +60^oC and with its Polychloroprene (PCP) outer sheath it is both ozone resistant, oil resistant and flame retardant.

The H05RN-F is part of a wider 300/500V rubber cable portfolio that includes the H05RR-F 318-TRS. For applications requiring a higher operating temperature the H05GG-F cable may also be appropriate.
