LiYY Cable

Our LiYY cables are manufactured to German standard DIN VDE 0812, with the flame retardant properties required of DIN VDE 0472 and IEC 60332-1-2. They have a voltage rating of 250/250V.

Suitable for both fixed and flexible applications, they have an operating temperature range of -40^oC to +80^oC (fixed) and -5^oC to +50^oC (flexed).

LiYY cables are also available up to 36 cores as standard, starting at 0.14mm2 conductor cross-sectional area sizing.

The LiYY Cable is also available with twisted pairs configuration on request. Twisted pairs (TP) are used to cancel out any electromagnetic interference from external sources or crosstalk from neighbouring pairs.

Alternatively, Eland Cables supplies a comprehensive range of LiYCY, with an overall tinned copper braid screen which offers protection against mechanical stress as well as external electromagnetic interference.

The LiYY cables form part of Eland Cables' comprehensive range of control cables alongside SY, YY CY cables and are specified alongside other industrial automation cables. For all types of European automation cable there are low smoke zero halogen variations including LiHH and LiHCH.
