Eland Cables supplies a range of Firetec® fire performance cables on a same-day despatch basis for most types of installations and on short manufacturing lead times for large projects, These cables hold a combination of approvals including BASEC, LPCB and London Underground certification and meet a range of fire performance standards including BS5389, BS6387 and BS EN 50200.
All Firetec® cables have an operating temperature range of -10oC to +90oC with the exception of the FRF2 which can operate in temperatures as low as -25oC.
Firetec cable applications
|Firetec Impact Power - LSZH||Similar in construction to steel wire armoured cables manufactured in accordance with BS5467, with additional mechanical protection for smaller sizes. These are designed for fire performance, direct impact and water jet as specified in BS8491. They are suitable for use as 120 minute rated (2-hour rated) category 3 power cables according to BS8519.|
|Firetec Power - LSZH||Fire resistant armoured cable suitable for use in fixed installations for power circuits, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems. This robust cable can be used both indoors and outdoors. It meets the enhanced grade of BS5939-1 26.2e and BS7846 F2.|
|Firetec FRF2 - LSZH||LUL-approved fire resistant flexible cable for fire alarms, emergency lighting and voice alarm systems. Control circuit category 2 as defined by BS8519.|
|Firetec Single Core - LSZH||Single core fire resistant cable for installation in metal conduits. For use in alarm systems and emergency lighting, The elastomeric insulation offers high mechanical strength, excellent flexibility, and resistance to abrasion.|
