  • Details: Single core configuration available in sizes from 25mm2 to 95mm2. Powertrain unit is also commonly referred to as the 'powerplant' unit.

The FHL2G and FHLR2GCB2G cables are designed for electric powertrain units in cars. Powertrain is a term that includes the motor, transmission, and drive shafts to deliver power, and in turn torque, to the drive wheels.

FHL2G and FHLR2GCB2G cables are increasingly commonly specified for EVs.

The FHL2G and FHLR2GCB2G cables both offer a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. The FHL2G cable is unscreened (unshielded), whilst the FHLR2GCB2G cable has a metallic braided shield for EMC screening and an Al/PET tape as an armour.

Both cables have fine stranded flexible copper conductors insulated and sheathed in silicone rubber, offering a broad operating temperature range, with a high temperature maximum of +180oC. The minimum bend radius of 3x overall diameter in static installations and 6x overall diameter in flexible installations.

These single core cables are available in sizes from 25mm2 to 95mm2 - tailored to the applications they support. The technical datasheets provide both dimensional data and electrical characteristics needed to support cable selection.
