The ‘Cockroach’ cable is a Network Rail approved All Aluminium Conductor (AAC cable). It is principally used in short-span railway overhead line power distribution systems with low, medium and high voltage ratings of up to 60kV.

The Bare Cockroach Overhead Line (AAC) cable has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for coastal installations. It provides an excellent weight to conductivity ratio.

The PVC insulated version is recommended for installations requiring additional protection against the challenges of the environment.

Both are suitable for use in the transmission and distribution of overhead line power where high conductivity is necessary.
