Eland Cables' portfolio of low voltage European standard power cables includes the N2XBH cable. This armoured cable has a voltage rating of 0.6/1kV and has a halogen-free flame retardant outer sheath. Unlike the British standard LSZH BS6724 cable which has steel wire armour, the N2XBH benefits from a double layer of galvanised steel tape (GSTA) to provide mechanical protection. Designed for power distribution, it is commonly used in public buildings and in industries where the protection of sensitive equipment in the event of fire is necessary, such as data centres. Manufactured in accordance with German Standard DIN VDE 0276-604 it is also supplies a broad range of European and international standard low voltage power cables including the N2XBH cable. With its low smoke zero halogen sheathing it is widely used in industries including, data processing centres, and public buildings where protection against fire risk is paramount. Manufactured in accordance with German standard DIN VDE 0276-604, the flame retardant properties of the outer sheath make it also suitable for use in power plants and refineries.
The N2XBH cable is suitable for installation in dry and damp environments, in plaster, walls, concrete, and buried in cable ducts. It has a maximum operating temperature of 90oC, and is available with a green or black outer sheath.

Please note, the part numbers listed are for the N2XBH cable with black outer sheath but where green outer sheath is required the last two digits would change to GN.
