Cable Cleats
Eland Cables’ range of cable cleats is designed to support and secure cables by fixing them either permanently or semi-permanently to a chosen cable route.
This is particularly important in installations where space is at a premium or where damage may occur should the cables remain free.
Our standard cleats are designed with either a single fixing point or as a two-part cleat with fixings on both sides. They are both stackable and recyclable, and are available as standard Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or as Low Smoke Fumes (LSF). Both polymers offer a high level of UV resistance. For wet and external environmental conditions, we supply a range of aluminium cable cleats.
We supply cable cleats to a vast array of industries including solar power generation, marine & offshore, and telecommunications, As a leading cable supplier to the rail industry, we supply a range of cleats approved for use with Network Rail approved cable and London Underground approved cable. For underground installations involving fire resistant and low smoke zero halogen cables, it is important to use cleats offering the same performance in the event of a fire in order to ensure the system performance. Our cable cleats can be used with cables of all constructions, including SWA cable, and in conjunction with our wider range of cable accessories such as cable glands and cable lugs.
Our cleats are designed and tested for use with our cables and they are recommended as the preferred method of installation.
