Veriflex YSLYCY 1kV Cable

The YSLYCY cable is designed to provide both power and control. It is part of the Veriflex range of cables, similar to the traditional CY cable, with an additional inner sheath layer under the braid.

YSLYCY Cable Voltage

The YSLYCY cable has a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV Like the 300/500V CY version, this flexible cable, with Class 5 stranded copper conductor, is PVC sheathed and has a tinned copper wire braid to provide electromagnetic compatibility when run in close proximity to other cables or sensors. It should be noted that whilst the TCWB will protect against electromagnetic interference, it is not designed to provide mechanical protection. 

 

YSLYCY Cable Specification

The YSLYCY is increasingly specified in industrial automation projects and benefits from the extensive testing conducted as part of the BSI Kitemark testing programme. This testing means YSLYCY cables also have an extended product warranty of 36 months, as do all Veriflex PVC sheathed cables.

These cables are suitable for flexible use when temporarily moved without tensile stress. A key point is that these YSLYCY cables are external grade for outdoor use, with the black PVC sheath being UV resistant, as well as being suitable for dry and moist conditions (including oil-water mixtures) indoors.

Veriflex cables are included in our core stockholding, and the YSLYCY cable is available for next-day delivery in multicores from 3 cores upwards. We offer YSLYCY-JZ as standard – black numbered cores with green/yellow earth – but other configurations and core identifications are available on request.
