The U3000 AR3V cables are for low voltage power distribution applications, manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-1 and generally to NF C33-321. 

U3000 AR3V Cable Specification

Designed for the French market, the AR3V cables are supplied at a rated voltage of 1.8/3kV (AC) and 1.5/1.5kV (DC). Commonly specified in solar PV farms, they are also used as the connection between MV and LV transformers, between mains LV switchboards and distribution boards, and as the power supply for industrial machinery. 

Comparable to the NA2X2Y cable, the cable has a lightweight Aluminium conductor, ideally suited for external sites where not subject to space constraints in installation. The XLPE insulation provides for a +90oC maximum operating temperature, whilst the MDPE outer sheathing is both abrasion resistant and provides protection against oils, chemicals and UV exposure. 

The AR3V cable can be buried directly in the ground or in ducts, and is rated AD8 for water resistance.

U3000 AR3V Quadra

Laid up as four single core cables - three-phase and neutral - the Quadra cable supports quicker installation and offers space-savings. Each of the cores has a coloured identification stripe on the outer sheath.
