TXXP 1kV Cables
The TXXP Cables, available with Aluminium or Copper conductors are interconnection power cables with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV.
TXXP Cable Specification & Sizes
Their flame retardant, UV-resistant, PVC sheathing makes the cables suitable for installation outside, above ground, without additional environmental protection. Applications include street lighting and urban power distribution and so the TXXP cable is frequently specified by European utilities companies.
These unarmoured TXXP single core cables are available in sizes upwards of 150mm2 to 400mm2. The copper conductor TXXP 1kV cable has a higher current carrying capacity in air and lower maximum conductor resistance at 20oC (Ohms/km) owing to the improved conductivity of copper. Additional sizes, and multi-core variants with colour coded cores, are also available upon request.
As street lighting cables they can be used in conjunction with smart urban lighting solutions to increase road safety whilst improving energy economy.
TXXP Cable Datasheets
Our TXXP cables provide the dimensional data and electrical characteristics to support cable selection. They also confirm that the TXXP cables are CPR rated and with a minimum bend radius of 15x their overall diameter. They should be installed in temperatures no lower than -5oC.
