The NSHTOU cable can be used wherever cables are frequently reeled, unreeled, or guided by roller trains. This reinforced heavy-duty rubber cable is designed with simultaneous tensile and torsional stress in mind, for applications under heavy mechanical stress such as hoists, conveyors, cranes, drum and drag cables, hawsers, and other building machinery.

This cable has applications in rough mining operations where it is may also be referred to as Type 21 cable. With the harsh environmental impact on cables and other components, the cables are designed to act as flexible trailing cables under heavy-duty stresses.

Our NSHTÖU-O (without earth conductor) is a heavy-duty cable offering resistance against oils and UV light. Additional resistance to the operational stresses is provided by a polyester braid.
NSHTÖU cables are suitable for outdoor installations and in dry, moist or wet rooms. They have an operating temperature range of -25oC to +60oC when flexed and -40oC to +60oC when fixed.
Available as NSHTÖU-O and with 4, 5, 7, 12, 18, 24, 30, 42 or 45 cores. NSHTOU-J (with green/yellow earth conductor) available on request
