H05VVH6-F elevator flatform cable (and the larger sized H07VV6H-F cable), is a flat travelling cable for use in conveyor and hoist equipment. The flat cable configuration allows for the frequent bending and movement of the cable across one plane.
Manufactured to European harmonised standard H05VVH6-F the nomenclature is broken down into the following:
H: Harmonized standard
05: Voltage rating for 300/500 V
V: PVC insulation
V: PVC outer sheath
H6: Flat, divisible cable construction
-F: Flexible stranded copper conductors (Class 5)
The H05VVH6-F cable is suitable for internal and panoramic elevator applications with a freely suspended length of up to 45 metres and requiring a voltage rating of 300/500V. The cables are designed for both internal and external applications to an ambient temperature of -20oC to +70oC.
Notable industry applications include airport travellators. They can also be used in cable management festoon systems, delivering power and control signals to overhead cranes and other moving machinery.
The H05VVH6-F is available in multicore sizes ranging from 6 cores up to 24 cores in a cross sectional area size of 0.75mm2.
The 450/750V flat cable, with the harmonised designation H07VVH6-F, is also available upon request. H07VVH6-F cables are available with cores of a cross-sectional area size of 1.5mm2 and above.
