EAXCG, EAXeCG and EAXeCeG Cables

Our Aluminium Medium Voltage Cable range includes cables using the Belgian designations. EAXCG and the associated variants offer MV voltages with LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) properties, making them suited to both installations buried directly in the ground and those run internally in buildings.

The EAXCG, EAXeCG and EAXeCeG cables are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and Generally to HD 620 10B. They are CPR compliant.

A consideration for installations buried direct may be to protect against water ingress - the EAXCG cable is available with additional water blocking properties featuring longitudinal and radial (transverse) water swellable tapes and/or Al/PET tapes.

EAXCG Cable Construction

For ease of reference this is the Belgian cable nomenclature explained. The inclusion of the letter 'A' after the reference to Energy Cables denotes the conductor material being Aluminium - as with many similar nomenclature, a copper conductor is assumed unless specifically stated otherwise. For reference, this is the same construction and voltage as the NA2XSH, NA2XS(F)H and NA2XS(FL)H Cables.
