The 318-B, referred to as H05Z1Z1-F under its European designation HAR code, is a flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable used in indoor general wiring, primarily for installation in public areas. It is manufactured in accordance with EN 50525-3-11, is Flame Retardant to IEC/EN 60332-1-2 and is CPR compliant.
Often referred to according to the number of cores (ie, 3182B, 3183B, 3184B, 3185B), this multi-purpose cable can be used as an indoor general wiring cable primarily for installations in public areas. Examples include use on pendant lighting drops or as a general supply lead within hospital or airport projects.
It has a LSZH thermoplastic insulation and sheath which lends itself to installation in locations where smoke emission and toxic fumes in the event of fire would create a potential threat to life and equipment.
