Our 318-A Arctic grade cables are manufactured in accordance with BS6004 and are designed to withstand severe external temperatures. These Arctic PVC cables, insulated and sheathed in a polymer designed to remain flexible at temperatures as low as -40° Celsius, are particularly suitable for outdoor applications and for use where flexibility is required at sub-zero temperatures. At room temperature, the 318-Arctic grade cable is very flexible (leading to them being referred to as Arctic flexible cable, or Arctic flex cable), offering some of the characteristics usually found in elastomeric cables.
