2192Y (Harmonised European Standard code H03VVH2-F) is a light duty twin flat flexible cable and is one of the most commonly used power cables within the Construction industry across Europe.
2192Y is the British naming convention whereas H03VVH2-F is the harmonised code (HAR standard) which is broken down into the following:
- H: Harmonised standard
- 03: 300/300V voltage rating
- V: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) insulation
- V: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) outer sheath
- H2: Flat parallel construction
- F: Flexible stranded copper conductors (Class 5)
Manufactured in accordance with European harmonised code (HAR standard cables) H03VVH2-F and with EN 50525 standard Part 2-11, it is designed as an indoor general domestic and office wiring cable.
This range of PVC cable is suitable for use as a general supply lead, for pendant lighting drops and for light portable domestic appliances. However, it is not suitable for heating and cooking appliances.
The 2192Y cable has a voltage rating of 300V, a temperature rating of -5oC to 70oC and a minimum bending radius of 8 x overall diameter when flexed.
We supply the 2192Y / H03VVH2-F cable in sizes 0.5mm2 and 0.75mm2. This cable is available with a white or with a black outer sheath.
