The YAKY Cable is an Aluminium low voltage power cable for general power distribution and equipment connections at a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. It is manufactured in compliance with IEC 60502-1.

YAKY Cable Specification

With their Aluminium conductors, the YAKY Cables are lightweight, with either Class 1 solid or Class 2 rigid stranded conductors (circular or sectoral depending on cross-sectional size). Whilst these cables are suitable for installation internally or externally, including buried directly in the ground and in cable ducts, it should be where there is minimal risk of mechanical damage. 

Sometimes referred to as 'double insulated', the PVC-PVC insulation and sheathing is flame retardant to IEC 60332-1-2 and offers an operating temperature range from -5°C to +70°C. The PVC provides a durable resistance to UV, abrasions, and other external factors. 

The YAKY cable can be cross-referenced with the NAYY Cable. YAKYzo cables are provided with Green/Yellow earth cores - coloured cores without G/Y also available.
