Our London Underground (LUL) approved single core signalling cable manufactured in accordance with standard MR-SE-1093.

MR SE1093 Cable Specification

The SE1093 is a lightweight, single core cable for use in relay rooms, panels and in small trunking for system intercoms and internal communications on the London Underground network. It has a tinned copper conductor, with EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) insulation and a Life Fire Hazard sheathing that meets relevant fire protection requirements for installation in internal and enclosed spaces. These cables have a broad operating temperature range of between -15^oC and +90^oC.

The specification has been tightly controlled by LUL, with limited approved manufacturers.

These cables' sheathing colour is Violet (for 0.5mm² cross sectional area) and Red (for 1mm² cross sectional area).
