Aluminium Turbine Tower Cable Specification
Our Aluminium Turbine Tower cables are low voltage power distribution cables with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. These lightweight and durable single and multi-core cables are suitable for internal installation with their LSZH sheathing. Cables include the XL-EVA-LSZH 1kV cable with it's tinned copper wire braid providing a metallic screen to limit electromagnetic interference and signal interruption.
The sheathing materials used for these turbine tower cables differ - the HEPR-PO-1kV cable is has a hard Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation which has a rubber inner sheath and a Polyolefin outer sheath. The XL-EVA-LSZH 1kV cable by comparison still has an EPR insulation layer but with addition of the TCWB screen and a Cross-linked Ethylene Vinyl Acetate sheathing (XL-EVA). In both cases, the cable sheathing materials offer good chemical resistance, thermal and mechanical properties, and in these compounds are halogen free and flame retardant.
Aluminium Turbine Tower Cable Datasheets
The technical datasheets will provide information suited to most installations, covering both cable sizes, weights and electrical characteristics. Our HEPR-PO-1kV cable is available in sizes 1x50mm to 1x400mm2, as well as in 3x150mm2 and 4x150mm2 (as commonly requested for windfarm projects). Our XL-EVA-LSZH 1kV cable is provided as 1x150mm2 to 1x400mm2 as standard.
