218-Y / H03VV-F Cable
Our BASEC-approved cables 218-Y, designated as H03VV-F under the harmonised European Standard, is a light duty PVC flexible cable designed for use in domestic properties, offices and kitchens. It has a voltage rating of 300/500V.
218-Y H03VV-F Cable Specification
The 218-Y cable is suitable for connecting devices with a voltage rating of 300V that are subjected to low mechanical stress such as table lamps, radios and office equipment.
H03VV-F cable (often misspelled HO3VV-F cable) is commonly referred to according to the number of core (2: 2182Y, 3: 2183Y, 4: 2184Y and 5: 2185Y).
This range is manufacture in accordance with BS EN 50525 standard Part 2-11. We supply 218-Y with a white or with a black PVC outersheath. 218-Y cables have a temperature rating of -5oC to +70oC.
