Application: Firecel SR 114E Fire Performance Cable is intended for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting circuits. Firecel 114E Enhanced cable is recommended for situations where fire cables may need to remain operating correctly for a longer period than is expected of a standard fire cable. Firecel PH120 is capable of maintaining circuitry for up to 120 minutes after the detection of fire. This added level of security is invaluable in buildings without sprinkler systems, which have a longer evacuation process due to the size, complexity or purpose of the building, or any building that has been assessed as requiring enhanced fire protection.

Part 2 Type 1 cables are generally designed for indoor use and in environments where mechanical protection is not required. Being BS 5308 Part 2 the insulation material is PVC. The PVC sheathing material has an OI >30% and HCL <15% and the LSZH material is of type LTS3. Individually and collectively screened pairs are available within the range where further signal security is required.
