ISO 17025 UKAS Accredited Laboratory
The Eland Cables Lab is a recognised centre of excellence for the testing and inspection of cables, holding ISO 17025 UKAS Accredited Laboratory certification. We are the only UK cable supplier holding this accreditation, giving assurance of our integrity and impartiality in compliance testing and inspection.
ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Certification
First awarded: 2024 - An internationally recognised accreditation for our owned delivery fleet, recognising the high standards we maintain in this important element of our customer service commitment.
ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management
ISO 45001:2018 certification awarded for our commitment to Occupational Health & Safety Management. New standard, supersedes OHSAS 18001. First awarded 2020.
ISO 50001 Energy Management Certification
First awarded: 2023. This international energy management standard is operated in conjunction with our environmental management, health & safety, and wider ESG policies to support our drive to greater sustainability.
IECEE CBTL Testing Laboratory
Approved Testing Laboratory (TL) for Certification Bodies (CB) under the IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechical Equipment and Components (IECEE) for testing and certifications to International standards.
BSI Kitemark for Cable Testing Verification
The first company to achieve the BSI Cable Testing Verification Kitemark, cables must be extensively tested in a UKAS laboratory and subject to BSI's surveillance programme. A valuable independent third-party mark of quality and compliance.
FORS Fleet Silver
Eland Cables' fleet including our articulated trucks and hi-ab delivery vehicles are accredited by FORS to silver level. The certification covers areas including road safety for freight vehicles and driver training.
Ecovadis Silver Certification
Awarded Silver Medal Status with Ecovadis, assessing our environmental, ethical, human rights and sustainable procurement policies and practices to deliver a business sustainability rating trusted around the world.
RISQS Certification
First qualified 2000. Eland Cables is an approved supplier in RISQS (formerly Link-Up), the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme. The scheme provides a single common registration qualification and audit process for suppliers, and is shared across the rail industry.
British Safety Council Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit
The BSC's Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit is internationally recognised as one of the highest standards available in its field. An annual in-depth audit of our entire health and safety management performance against best practice saw us awarded 5-star status. First awarded 2015
