Eland Cables' Medium Voltage Armoured Cable portfolio includes the 19/33 (36)kV cables manufactured to British Standards BS6622 and BS7835 . Designed for power distribution networks and suitable for direct burial, they are available as single core cables or three-core cables, with aluminium wire armour (AWA) and steel wire armour (SWA) respectively providing mechanical protection.  As mains power cables they are generally supplied with Class 2 stranded copper conductors but the standard also allows for Class 1 solid and Class 2 stranded aluminium conductors upon request, available upon request.
