The SE0875 Screened Track Crossing Signalling cable is used in London Underground signal safety circuits where these circuits are required to cross the track at ballast level (the trackbed the railway sleepers are laid upon). The cables are designed with a Tinned Copper Wire Braid (TCWB) to protect from interference. The cores of this cable are laid up around a crush absorbing filler to provide resistance against mechanical stresses in this environment.
