Our RE-2Y(st)H are Polyethylene (PE) insulated and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheathed instrumentation cables manufactured in accordance with BS EN 50288.
These cables are widely used in the petrochemical industry in applications such as instrumentation, control and data transmission, for both analogue and digital signals, Their LSZH properties make them suitable for use in areas where, in the event of fire, the emission of smoke or toxic gases would pose a risk to human life or sensitive equipment.
RE-2Y(st)H are unarmoured cables and are therefore not suitable for applications requiring direct burial.

This range has a voltage rating of 300/500V, with 90V and 500V versions available upon request. It is available in a multitude of variants including CAM, ICAM, PiMF and TiMF. It has an operating temperature rating of -30oC to +70oC.
A blue outer sheath colour on RE-2Y(st)H denotes that the cable is suitable for use in intrinsically safe systems. This range is also available in grey for indoor use and in black where resistance to UV is required.
