Class 2 Signalling Power Supply Cable - NR/L2/ELP/27408
Our Network Rail-approved Class 2 signalling power supply cables are manufactured to NR/L2/ELP/27408. This range of unarmoured power cables have enhanced properties such as rodent-proof Fibre Glass Tape (FGT) preventing power disruption and induced fail-safe shutdowns resulting from gnawed lines. According to Network Rail's media centre, this enhanced class 2 based signalling power distribution system results in "a reduction in weight, transportation costs, laying costs and the cost of the cable itself."
