NHXMH-J & NHXMH-O Cable
NHXMH-J and NHXMH-O are power cables used in fixed wiring installations with a voltage rating of 300/500V by the Building and Construction industry. They are suitable for a wide range of environments, including dry or moist rooms, in masonry or concrete, in and under plaster, however they are not suitable for underground installation.
This range of cables have an oversheath made from a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) materials, making them suitable for installation in buildings with a high concentration of people or valuable property, where improved fire characteristics are needed.
NHXMH-J & NHXMH-O cable construction
|NHXMH-J & NXHMH-O|
|Conductor||Solid copper (Class 1)|
|Insulation||Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) Type 2XI1|
|Sheath||Flame retardant halogen free thermoplastic polymer compound Type HM2|
Unlike the NHXMH-O cable, NHXMH-J cable contains a green/yellow core which acts as an earth conductor. Both cables have an operational temperature rating of -5oC to +70oC.
NHXMH-O and NHXMH-J cable dimensions
Cables with 3 cores, 4 cores and 5 cores are supplied with the green/yellow core as standard. 7 cores and above are supplied as number coded.
Some of our most popular NHXMH-O and NHXMH-J cable sizes include:
|Part Number||Number of Cores||Nominal Cross-Sectional Area||Nominal Overall Diameter mm||Nominal Weight kg/km|
NXHMH-J and MHXMH-O cables conform to the CE directive 2006/95/EC (Low Voltage directive).
