Applications Overview

Our LUL-approved 0.65/1.1kV signalling cables Type D1, D2, E1 and E2 are manufactured in accordance with G7250. Their Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheathing makes them suitable for use in tunnels and underground across the London Underground network.

This range of signalling cables has a temperature rating of -15oC to +85oC.
 
LUL's G7250 signalling cables differ from the Network Rail Type D2 and E2 specification cables (NR/PS/SIG/00005) by virtue of the screen constructed from a double layer of Aluminium laminate tape, the inner tape with the metallic side out, the outer tape with it facing inwards, with the drain wires between the tape in full metallic contact.
