Coil End Lead Type 4 Cable
Coil End Leads are primarily used in electrical machinery and panel wiring as a flexible, direct, permanent connection to coil windings of motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers and actuators where oil resistance is required. In certain applications, the Coil End Lead cable can be used as an alternative to bi-rated and tri-rated cables.
Type 4 A, C, D, E and F, cables has the added advantage of an Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) heat and oil resistant and flame retardant insulation (HOFR) that protects against lubricants. Manufactured to BS6195, these flexible rubber cables can also be used within the railway industry as an anode cable.
